We depart your hotel for the Nelson Mandela Gateway, where we board the luxurious Inala, to experience a private cruise to Robben Island and the surrounding bay. This luxurious 50ft motor yacht, with its Italian styling and trendy interiors, has been specially designed to meet the tastes and requirements of business executives, royalty and VIP's. The vessel has a capacity of 12 guests - who are treated to fine refreshments during the 30 minute crossing to the island. Here you are met by your private guide for the tour of the island. One of the ex-political prisoners then takes you through the prison for a first-hand account their experiences inside this notorious jail. After your island visit there is the option of an excursion toward some of the Cape's finest beaches before returning to the V&A Waterfront. Duration of charter is 4 hours. Upon returning you will be transferred back to your hotel. |
